Blockhead is a intensely creative musical artist. I first got his album "Broke Beats" back in the day and I've been stoked on everything he's ever put out. This music he produces is an intensely aromatic fusion of funk, Jazz, rhythm, intelligent beats and compositions. He's supported by Ninja Tune Records. His latest effort Downtown Science is a great listen that will thump your speakers but is still mellow at the same time. If you're looking for something fresh with a sound all of its own, get something by Blockhead.
